A sweet graphite drawing of a horse, sketched between 1900-1910 by English artist Isabel Lewis. Lewis was a leading artist for Royal Doulton potteries at Lambeth in the 1880s. This simple study, drawn in a natural, effortless manner, is a testament to her skill.

This drawing is unsigned but comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Somerset & Wood Fine Art Company in England.

Dimensions:

  • Artwork: 8" tall by 5.75" wide
  • Frame Overall: 14" tall by 12" wide

Condition:

Drawing is in excellent condition with very slight yellowing due to age.

The drawing has been carefully framed in a lovely repurposed vintage frame. Each framing element is archival: from the museum grade mat and backing board, to the traditional mulberry paper mounting hinges, to the dust cover on the back of the frame.
