I love and collect Staffordshire, and very nearly held onto this figurine, but I can't keep it all. This is a 19th century English Staffordshire ceramic flat-backed figurine (same potteries as the iconic Staffordshire dogs) of a young couple "Returning Home" from market on horseback. The piece features minimal painted details with copper luster accents.

In good antique condition. Crazing throughout the glaze, but no cracks or chips present
