This English copper lusterware jug, made around 1840, features a series of classical motifs in white relief with a pink luster resist-painted band around the top of the jug.
I adore copper lusterware and collect it myself. I feel that these jugs always look best in groups. This jug is certainly detailed enough to stand on it's own, but it would also look stunning paired with this copper lusterware jug duo.

Condition:
In fine condition, free of repairs, breaks, chips, and cracks. There are some scratches on the copper luster glaze (see last photo as example of a darker spot where the glaze has been worn away). There is also crazing on the glaze – most apparent on the white areas of the jug.
