This solid brass horse doorstop, cast in 1949 by Virginia Metalcrafters of Waynesboro, VA, has a lovely patina. This piece was designed by artist and sculptor Calvin Roy Kinstler for Virginia Metalcrafters, and is said to be a portrait of 1948 Triple Crown Winner Citation.

Condition:
In very good condition with a beautiful aged patina. No chips, cracks, or breaks present. There are small remnants of black paint present in areas, but they do not detract from the overall aesthetic.
