The Junior Library Edition of Black Beauty by Anna Sewell is one of my favorite editions. The vibrant illustrated hardcover is eye-catching on a shelf, and the interior is filled with a mix of charming, nostalgic black and white and colored illustrations. This 1980 printing has red sprayed edges and end papers. This book also includes an original clear plastic dust jacket.

Condition: 

In very good condition overall. The book does have a manufacturing defect on pages 213-219 where the pages were not cut properly during production and a bit of the spray went over the edge and onto the page in spots. There is a bit of wear to the edges of the cover, but aside from pages noted, interior pages are in like-new condition.

This is a vintage item and therefore is naturally in "used" condition. Please view all photos before purchasing.
