A large pair of cream 19th century English Staffordshire mantle dogs. This is the largest size Staffordshire dogs / mantle dogs were produced in during the 19th century (there were 6 common sizes made).
Now iconic, Staffordshire dogs – especially in a matching pair – look lovely and charming in most rooms and can be displayed on a mantle, hearth, bookshelves, desk, chest of drawers, sideboard... the list goes on!
