A single cream left-facing 19th century English Staffordshire mantle dog / wally dog with gold detailing.
This Staffordshire dog has one of the cuter faces I have come across. I found him in the Peak District in England – very near Staffordshire, England where the renown Staffordshire potteries have existed since the 17th century.
Dimensions:
-
Approx. 8.5" tall x 6" long x 3.75" wide
Condition:
In good antique condition. There are some chips and wear to the painted areas, crazing over the surface of the glaze and a non-structural surface crack that runs along the top of the head and down the right side.
This is an antique item and therefore is naturally in "used" condition. Please view all photos before purchasing.
