The "Countryside Seasons" drawings featured on these bookmarks are filled with detail – each one took about a month to draw. Every scene is set in the same stretch of picturesque rolling hills, with the shift into each new season shown through the changing flora and fauna (though the horse is always there, of course!).

In Summer, roses, lavender and foxglove are in full bloom. The horse grazes under the shade of a tree, while Fallow deer doze in the far field. Also to be spotted: butterflies, a bee, birds and a curious stoat.

Each bookmark is foil-stamped by hand in gold on French blue 111lb card stock and finished with a vibrant Gamboge yellow tassel.

All bookmark designs start as drawings that are later refined and transformed into beautiful copper printing plates. Bookmarks are foil stamped by hand in the studio in small batches. All foil stamping is done on a table-top hot foil stamping machine crafted in England by Metallic Elephant.
