A vibrant pair of brown and white 19th century English Staffordshire mantle dogs. Both dogs feature chestnut brown hand-painted spotted coats.
Now iconic, Staffordshire dogs – especially in a matching pair – look lovely and charming in most rooms and can be displayed on a mantle, hearth, bookshelves, desk, chest of drawers, sideboard... the list goes on!
Dimensions:
-
Approx. 9" tall x 6.5" long x 4.5" wide
Condition:
In good antique condition. There are chips and wear to the painted areas and some crazing on the surface of the glaze. There are a few non-structural surface cracks throughout that have most likely been there since the piece was originally cast. There are also some random blue dots that appear to be below the glaze.
This is an antique item and therefore is naturally in "used" condition. Please view all photos before purchasing.
